Grappling with increasing growth, the city of Post Falls, Idaho, was certain of one thing: Their vision did not include becoming a sprawling bedroom community encroaching on a strikingly beautiful prairie. To offer an alternative, PlaceMakers provided a master plan, SmartCode calibration, design assistance on 11 local development projects, and implementation advisory, with local participation engaged through an integrated program of charrette communications.
