Tennis at The Waters: Here is the Love
If you're looking for vibrant signs of community here at The Waters, you need not look any further than the tennis courts. While it's true we expected a lot of use by players, given how nice the courts are, we remain surprised by just how much the courts have emerged as a social event for young and old. From avid spectators to folks looking to grill up some dinner and catch up with neighbors, The Waters' tennis courts are truly the place to be.

Pike Road Comes Out for the 4th

The Town of Pike Road held their annual Summerfest July 4th celebration at The Waters this year, providing a fun-filled afternoon and evening of games, activities, food and, of course, spectacular fireworks.

With a jam-packed schedule of events, the extent of this idyllic celebration is a little difficult to capture in just a few words. Over the course of the day, holiday celebrants were treated to two bands, an apple-pie contest, fly-overs by vintage airplanes, canoe races, sack races, dunking booth, tug of war, art auctions, a choral concert, swimming, water slides, a moonwalk and a delicious catfish dinner.

Drawing a crowd of over 1,200 people, the event raised more than $3,000 to help support the recently established P.R.I.C.E. Foundation - the non-profit Pike Road Investment in Community & Education - as it works to create a world-class community school and model for excellence in public education.

Walk and Roll

The Waters may be a great place to walk - with room-for-two sidewalks, a system of trails, and genuine destinations worth the effort - but it's also emerging as a pretty nice place to roll. With recent acquisitions by the Sales Team, The Waters is now home to numerous electric vehicles, with numbers only expected to grow. From neighbors zipping about, to sales agents out with folks interested in The Waters, to our builders going from site to site, neighborhood electric vehicles are just one more reason The Waters is Montgomery's most interesting place to live.

What's the Story?
For homes with just one, it means no staircase and less impact on the knees - something very desirable to a lot of folks. With that in mind, The Waters has recently added a number of single-story homes to the neighborhood, further building on our promise to offer all kinds of homes for buyers at all stages of life.

Lucas Point Infrastructure Continues
Recent visitors to The Waters likely noticed the network of roads being cut into the northern tip of Lucas Point. These roads will establish the other two sides of our hamlet square and are the necessary prerequisite to the future release of additional waterfront lots. Stay tuned!

Now That's a Bright Idea
Honored. That's the best way we can describe it. Montgomery Living Magazine is currently hard at work completing their very first Idea House and you'll find it right here at The Waters. A beautiful brick showplace, built by Andrew & Dawson with graceful stacked porches, the house will be a true source of inspiration for everything from home design to building materials to interior furnishings and finishes. Check www.thewatersal.com in the near future for announcements on opening day.
