Don't Miss the Spring Tour of Homes
Here's your chance to experience first-hand the unique furnishings and style that grace The Waters' traditional southern homes. Join us May 6 and 7 between 1 and 6pm each day for a rare and very special look inside some of our completed, occupied homes, and see for yourself the function, fun and flexibility of classic design. Indeed, when done well, you'll be amazed at just how large a traditional home can live. Entry is only $5 per adult.
Live/Work Building Breaks Ground
The Waters' first live/work condominium building, overlooking the picturesque Lucas Point Square, is now well underway. Designed in an architectural charrette a year ago featuring both residential loft condos (with 12' ceilings and beautiful views) and street-level business space, it's the first of three similar structures that will wrap the Square in the classic southern tradition. If you're interested in a loft or business space, please contact The Waters' sales team.
New Builders Added to Meet Demand
In an effort to meet increasing demand, The Waters has recently added significantly to its Builders Guild. Please join us in welcoming the talents of Prime Homebuilders, AllSouth Construction Company, Blackwell Builders, Shawn York, and the Andrew & Dawson Construction Company.
Tennis Anyone? New Improvements Take Shape
Think the tennis courts at The Waters can't get any better? Think again. Anyone taking in a game recently most likely noticed our new practice wall taking shape, which will facilitate single-player play. Now, the two full courts of The Waters can accommodate anywhere from one to eight players simultaneously. Also new, but not immediately evident, is the new bathroom recently installed in the storage facility next door.
More Homes Than Ever Under Construction
Between the Charleston Sideyards rising on Bright Spot Street and the growing number of homes completing the upper portion of Chapel Hill Street, construction at The Waters is clearly in high gear. With ever-increasing choices, including some gorgeous, all new views, there's greater opportunity now than ever to find your ideal home at The Waters.
Find Some Time at the Beach
While some may have felt they were stumbling upon an ancient ruin, the makeshift sundial that materialized on the Lucas Point beach recently was actually the work of neighborhood kids. Beautiful in both design and construction, there's no word just yet on the monument's actual accuracy. Pictured with their creation are Alissa Hale, Russ Daniel, Grayson Hale and Davis Daniel.
