YMCA’s “Y's Up” Location Opens
The YMCA’s “Y's Up” facility recently opened up business to a packed house of neighbors who welcomed them to the neighborhood with a celebratory cake. Located in one of the ground floor spaces in The Bridge Street Condos building overlooking the picture-perfect Lucas Point square, Y's Up will soon be joined by the Bridge Street Market restaurant and general store, Smile Consultants dentistry and other businesses. Build-out on each business is nearing completion with individual openings taking place over the next several weeks.
Decking Out the Inside
Interior design consultants Cindy Barganier Interiors also opened its doors in January. Believing that every home should say something about its occupants as opposed to its designer, Cindy revels in having no signature “look,” instead preferring extensive interviews through which she identifies the unique tastes and style of each homeowner. Meticulously decorated in its own right, Cindy’s shop is not to be missed. Drop by today.
T’is the Season for… Fire!
A crisp evening, friendly neighbors and a toasty warm bonfire. That’s the idea behind the latest amenity to grace The Waters – the fire pit on the square. In place just a short time, the pit has already inspired a number of spontaneous gatherings and marshmallow roasts.
Caroling, Waters-Style Architecture at The Waters isn’t the only thing with time-honored elegance and style… Some of our activities seem equally picture-perfect. Such was the case in December as the community gathered for a little good, old-fashioned caroling in the cozy confines of the Bungalow Court. Afterwards, three families who live on the Bungalow Court opened their homes to a feast for the community. Both young and old enjoyed the event so much that we expect it to become an annual tradition at the Waters.
Lighting Up the Holidays
Nothing says holiday spirit more than trimming of the tree. Here at The Waters, we kicked off the season with decoration of our neighborhood tree down on the square. Pictured here, Jenny Walker and Cindy Barganier get to work on the impressive, 20 foot tall tree.
