Bridge Street Market Opens! To the delight of residents and visitors, The Waters’ signature Bridge Street Market opened recently, just in time for the Spring Tour of Homes. With its ever-growing inventory of staples stocked to meet resident requests and daily offerings of both eat-in and take-away meals, the Market is already proving to be a hit. Drop in for a visit, at the store online here.
Another Great Reason to Smile Also now open in the Bridge Street Condo building on the square is Smile Consultants Dentistry, a full service dental practice. Their second location, this new office operates under the careful direction of Dr. Bill Cornwell, a long-time fixture in Montgomery and now full time resident of The Waters. Need an appointment or want to learn more? Give them a call at 334.279.0808.
Bright New Home Options on Bright Spot Street Visitors during the recent Spring Tour of Homes were thrilled to discover a host of homes on Bright Spot Street priced under $300,000. Each features hardwood flooring throughout the first floor (except bedrooms), a first floor bedroom, and metal roof. Furthermore, the sideyard home options deliver a truly private courtyard experience. See a Waters sales agent today for the latest in pricing and availability.
A Taste of New Orleans
For the second year in a row, spring at The Waters rolled in with a little Cajun flavor thanks to our Taste of New Orleans shrimp boil. Celebrating, among other things, the recent completion of Pier Street Park and the Big Easy townhomes that front it, the afternoon event brought out a healthy crowd of friends and neighbors taking in a little sunshine, music and good, old-fashioned Bayou cooking.
Spring Tour of Homes Delivers Spread out over two weekends in late April, the Montgomery Homebuilders’ Spring Tour of Homes brought out a healthy crowd of 400 folks this year, anxious to discover The Waters or catch up on our considerable progress since last fall’s Parade. With a number of offers submitted on available properties, we expect a continued healthy flow of new neighbors to arrive in the coming months.
Chapel Hill Meeting House On Track for Summer Opening
Progress continues on The Waters’ long-awaited meeting house, which broke ground in January. Designed by architect Gary Justiss, who’s also responsible for a number of homes here, and built by Andrew and Dawson, the building will seat 200 to 250 and be ideal for everything from community meetings to movie nights to all-out dream weddings. In fact, its first wedding, to take place in July, is already scheduled.
